Vortex Liquid Biopsy Solutions has been selected to represent the Cambridge x Manchester Partnership at Cambridge Tech Week 2026, following a highly competitive application process involving innovative companies from across the UK technology and life sciences sectors.
Vortex will join a select cohort of businesses chosen to showcase the strength of the Cambridge-Manchester innovation ecosystem to investors, corporates, policymakers, researchers and industry leaders attending Cambridge Tech Week on 16 September.
The selection reflects growing recognition of Vortex’s work in advancing liquid biopsy technologies for precision oncology. The company’s proprietary platform enables the label-free isolation and analysis of intact circulating tumour cells (CTCs) from a routine blood sample, supporting applications in cancer diagnostics, biomarker discovery, drug development and treatment monitoring.
